You Just Stopped Visiting It

We’ve all been there. It’s mid-summer, and that massive wave of unstoppable energy you felt back in January feels like a distant memory. You look at the big goals, the bold vision, and the “plan of intentions” you set for yourself at the start of the year, and a wave of guilt hits. You feel like you lost it. Like you failed.
But let’s get one thing straight. You didn’t lose it. You just stopped visiting it.
There is a massive difference between losing your passion and simply letting the daily noise crowd it out. You didn’t lose your “Why.” You just forgot to look at it, forgot to remind yourself why you started, and forgot to keep it at the front of your mind.
The good news? It is absolutely not too late. You don’t need to throw your hands up and say, “Well, I’ll just wait until January 2027 to try again.” We are still months away from next year. There is so much ground to be gained right now.
Here is your action plan for today:
- Dig it out: Go find that notebook, that vision board, or that digital doc where you wrote down your January intentions.
- Place it in your vision: Put it somewhere you are forced to look at it every single day—your bathroom mirror, your desk, or your phone background.
- Apply ONE action: Don’t try to fix everything at once. Just choose one specific thing you can do today to move the needle forward.

Stop waiting for a new calendar year to reclaim your drive. Reconnect with your vision today, take that one daily action, and let’s finish this year stronger than we started.
