Reclaim and Follow Your Inner Greatness

Let’s be completely honest for a second: have you ever found yourself dragging your feet, putting off a big decision, or completely procrastinating on taking action?

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been guilty of it. Sometimes we hesitate because we’re genuinely unsure of the next step. But more often than not, we hesitate because we’re afraid of the “tug.”

You know exactly what that tug feels like. It’s that uncomfortable pressure to explain your why to your peers, your friends, or your family. It’s the exhausting mental loop of justifying your choices to people who might not see the vision yet. And to avoid that awkward friction, we sometimes choose isolation or hesitation instead.

I experienced this firsthand on my own fitness journey. When I decided to restart after a few years of doing absolutely nothing—spending hours Googling, looking for a real change—the questions flooded in. “Why are you doing this? Why restart now?”

Suddenly, I found myself playing defense, trying to explain that real change doesn’t happen overnight. On any true transformation journey, there are so many moving parts: shifting your mindset, protecting your energy, losing inches before the pounds even drop, and fighting through the doubts.

After evaluating those conversations, I realized something powerful. I had to change my response. This is my decision. This is my journey. My boundary is now simple: I am following MY inner greatness.

“You do not need to explain your path just to belong.”

Didn’t we already play that game in school and college? We changed our clothes, muted our voices, and agreed with things we knew didn’t align with our true thoughts all just to fit in. But every time you compromise who you are to blend into a crowd, you lose a piece of your power.

What a beautiful joy it is to finally recover that greatness. Being unapologetically yourself should feel incredible.

Today, I have a question for you, Champion. Are you actively following your inner greatness, or are you lingering in places where you don’t belong just to feel accepted?

It is more than okay to be you. It is mandatory. This week, I want you to look in the mirror, smile, spin around, do a quick dance, and completely lose yourself in that feel-good moment of self-approval.

Go ahead. Step out of the waiting room, drop the explanations, and follow your greatness.
