Keeps You Stuck

Lately, I’ve been hearing something in our community that completely stopped me in my tracks.
I am someone who will always encourage you to believe. Believe in the vision, believe in the goals, and believe in the lifestyle you are building. But here is the disconnect I keep running into: Many people don’t actually trust themselves to believe.
Instead, they wait for someone else to give them the green light. If a mentor, a coach, or a friend says, “It’s okay, go ahead,” then suddenly they have the confidence to move forward.
If this is you, I need you to STOP.
If you rely on outside validation to fuel your belief, you are signing up for a very long journey where you accomplish very little.
Your Path is Solo, Even on a Shared Road
My journey is mine. Their journey is theirs. And your journey is strictly yours.
Yes, we might meet up. We might run on the exact same road for a while. We might face the exact same conditioning challenges, professional barriers, or mindset shifts. But at the end of the day, it is always about you.
When you don’t trust your own decisions but claim you “believe” in the outcome, there is a massive disconnect. Trust and belief need each other.
- Belief is seeing the destination.
- Trust is knowing you have the capability to steer the wheel to get there.
If you don’t have both, you’ll end up stranded on the side of the road, engine idling, waiting for a bystander to tell you it’s okay to drive. Don’t park your potential waiting for a permission slip. Pair your belief with self-trust, and start moving.
