Are You On Overdrive

Yes, are you? I know we’re in the world of let’s get it done and fast. Extend your day there is room for more, keep moving, do you really need all those hours of sleep.

It’s so easy to put our mindset and body in overdrive. I’m speaking on fitness and professional growth.

In fitness we want that rapid change be it workouts (by the way you’re welcome to join me in workouts; if you have time limits, a beginner or just an accountability partner let do it together). Change some on diets, and many now using the injections or pills and want that change. We move rapidly and of course with the injections and pills there is a limit, but man do I hear the conversation of wanting immediate results. Pace yourself, if you’re doing what has been instructed, I need you to trust the process and be patient. Get organized in applying all actions required and don’t overdo it and don’t fatigue your body out. Pace and patience. If you’re over exceeding your workouts your body will begin to slow down why? You’re probably not sleeping enough, decreased your nutrition (which is good for a deficit, but to starve your body of needed nutrients), hydrate and then the fatigue. Sometimes the fatigue is because of absence of the sleep, needed nutrition and hydration. You know I always say know before you go. Yep, get all the details. And really when we put ourselves in overdrive, we neglect a few things and for certain there is that big chance of oversight.

Neglect things that are important and we don’t notice the attention we have failed others and ourselves until sometimes it’s too late. Too late, yeah, the body and mind or situations will just hit us. When this happens, we can sometimes repair and then sometimes the outcome we have to deal with be it pleasant or unpleasant.

So apply whatever actions necessary for the change you want be it fitness, personal or professional but make that pace livable. And always have patience. Applying yourself in your pace 100% daily and not on overdrive because you are now organized that change is for certain happening.
