Why We Need To Refresh, Relax & Reconnect

We often treat our calendars like a battlefield, moving from one task to the next without a second thought. But there is a quiet, transformative power in three simple words: Refresh. Relax. Reconnect.
For me, that day is Sunday. It’s my designated “soul-reset” day—a time to step back from the noise and step into a higher frequency.
My Sunday Sanctuary
While Saturdays are for errands and chores, Sunday is my day to breathe. My ritual usually begins with spiritual grounding; I attend Mass (either Saturday evening or the 9 AM Sunday service). This sets the tone for everything that follows.
- Refresh: I use this time to shift my mindset. I clear out the mental clutter of the previous week and prepare for the new one with intention.
- Relax: I give myself permission to linger. I relax longer, move slower, and let my body recover.
- Reconnect: This is the most vital part. I lean into quality time with family and friends. More importantly, I reconnect with my inner self. Through longer meditation, I tap into my spiritual nature, connecting not just with my Catholic faith, but with the universe and the atmosphere around us.
Find Your “Sunday”
You don’t have to wait for the weekend to find this peace. If Sunday is a work day for you, pick a Tuesday. If you only have four hours on a Thursday, take them.
The goal isn’t the specific day—it’s the habit.
My invitation to you today: Choose a day this week to intentionally Refresh, Relax, and Reconnect. Give it a try, make it a habit, and watch how it transforms your energy.
Enjoy the change!
