Discover Your Best Fitness Choice: Gym or Streaming?

Yep, you do have choices but what is yours. I am going to share my story before proceeding. I was once a gym fanatic but I knew I’d have to arrive at specific times to really get a good workout in. If I didn’t I just used whatever machine was available and did a lot of walking around which was slow. Why slow so just in case a machine I needed to use became available I could dash to it. I’m sure a few people thought I was weird looking around, slow walking oh well. If I was early enough I could workout in about 45 minutes to an hour. As I do now I have allotted times in my workouts and scheduled. Old habit. There also were days I’d use my entire 1.5 – 2 hours on the treadmill (20-30) minutes and one machine and time was up but I can say I got a lot of steps in just walking.

Working, children I couldn’t return at another time so to be effective I decreased my frequency. Then I discovered streaming. What was this about? Okay I can do this, of course I did have to change my mindset because there were challenges to routines I thought was too much so I skipped around until I begin to challenge myself to complete routines I thought were challenging. And…. they were. But with consistency and focus I was improving and seeing my workouts now in a different manner. I was able to workout at home on my schedule, choosing programs or trainers I preferred and feeling good. What a difference in my fitness routine.

To you I ask what is your “Fitness Choice”. Is it working out for you. I know for so many the gym is excellent and there are those that have given up because of their schedules or because the gym wasn’t friendly to them. By friendly they felt uncomfortable in their body or the crowd at the gym. I say try streaming and my suggestion would be BODi. But whatever you do make certain the fitness choice is really for you, to be consistent, enjoy your workout and see the results you want (remember the scale is a number) it can not measure your energy, inches lost, new mindset.
