Yes, It’s Time To Impress You

How easy is it to forget yourself? Easy for many as their values are so controlled by society. Hear me out, I know this happens but when it comes to oneself there must be “A VALUE“.

As an affiliate of BODi, BODi I like to encourage people to a fitness level greater than they expected. It is easy to use age, time, family, work and the list goes on but we as individuals are ultimately responsible for our fitness. Let me share once you become committed and feel the difference in your body and mindset you will see the joy of a great fitness life. Uhh you will feel the difference before you or anyone else see it. But those non-scale victories are rewarding.

I was recently asked by someone that joined the BODi community which is the best, speediest workout for change so they could look good for the company’s Christmas Party. Shut The Front Door and PLEASE pump those brakes. To begin and don’t judge me as being insensitive. I am totally sensitive to people and I listen as well as ask questions when I am concerned. Fitness is and should be a lifestyle choice. Words said by one of BODI’s trainer- “The day you plant the seed, Do Not Expect To Harvest A Crop”.

The day you plant that seed which is the beginning of your workout. I will return to this in a minute. BECAUSE I must focus on the purpose. Not a lifestyle change (why not?). Who are you trying to impress and WHY? What happens after the party? AND what is wrong with you and this picture?

Your FIRST concern at least for me is why aren’t you IMPRESSING YOURSELF, you know that self love. Impress you; the value of yourself is or should be non-negotiable. Impress yourself, love you, accept you.

Planting those fitness seeds. What is your favorite type of workouts or do you have many, then set-up a schedule to workout. Yep gotta commit. Oh and No your workouts do not need to be the same time each day (that way you will not use the time as passed as an excuse to skip). Don’t overdo or under do especially if you are a beginner. Don’t be hard on yourself if you feel a routine is too much – MODIFY. Just as you plant seeds. you gotta water and pull out the weeds. Water that’s your nutrition. Those weeds well you may to toss out a few of those habits and input a few healthier habits. Oohhh don’t start shaking the head because just small pivots will put you on track.

NOW, October – December, if you are COMMITTED, SCHEDULING the workouts and made a few (notice a few) NUTRITION changes you will see changes. But ma’am/ sir there is not a magic wand t results. You gotta do those 3 commit, schedule, nutrition. FEEL it first. Now you are and will be impressing yourself not just for Christmas but for every event, occasion you will be attending.
