Overcoming Fitness Setbacks: Your Guide to Success

Hey you, check out your calendar, it’s May and it is warming up? Where are you in your fitness journey? I have a few questions

  1. Have you started on your fitness, remember you made that decision four months ago, yes that was January.
  2. Have you scheduled your workouts onto your calendar?, this is a way to stay committed. It’s okay if the timing isn’t the same just “GET IT DONE
  3. Decide if you’re stopped. Why did you stop? Was it the workout, was it the environment or was it just you giving up. Here’s your resolution suggestions.

A. Find a workout you enjoy, don’t be shy in trying something new. In trying a new workout don’t fret if you’re not where you want to be; just continue and be consistent- you will get there. What ever you do, don’t compare with those with more workout experiences. Quick share- I at once didn’t like Pilates but this new program which mimics a lot of the Pilates gym equipment but at home. I am in love with Pilates. Of course I still love lifting weights

B. If it is the environment then what do you need to change? Sometimes the gym can be intimidating choose a time where there are fewer people or consider streaming. At BODi we have choices of many, you decide what you want, check it out. http://bodi.pxf.io/joinbodi

C. Did you give up on yourself? WHY? Don’t do that. You’re great and just pace your time and workouts, You Got This. I already know you can and will just schedule the workouts, it takes a few weeks to get used to the change but your body and mindset will adjust, just keep doing it.

It’s May and it’s warming up so get that or those moves on.
