The Workouts Are Not A Competition

No, they are not, unless you’re actually competing. Did you know you really are the boss of your workouts.

I have fallen in love with weight lifting for many reasons and I’ll share a few.

A. It improves my metabolism

B. My energy level is so elevated even though the workouts have fatigued my muscles

C. The toning of my body.

D. I love it,

It did take me a while to realize I do not have to increase when the trainer recommends. If you don’t know, well now you do; I am a streaming person in my workouts because I have control over my time. I am nor will I ever knock going to the gym. We have to decide what mode of workout is best for us. I will recommend to commit and be consistent in your workouts.

Now back to the lifting. Don’t judge yourself if you have to drop weight lift for a few reps or the entire lift cycle. Your strength can vary. One week I’m backing about shoulder press of 25lbs which is 50 and the next week I’m crying about how heavy 15lbs are which is 30. Our nutrition fluctuates, stress levels, sleep hours which can be contributing factors to the weight lift change. Okay and again okay. What matters is that you give your best each and every time; be committed and stay consistent.

You can increase the burn on any muscle with a slower pace. Up count 123 or to 5 then quick release. This also applies to push ups, seated workouts. Commit, consistency, correct body form and safety. Listen to the body. 1 2 3 now GO get that workout in.

Pssst… if you’re looking for accountability partner send me an email, or if you’re not certain where to begin or restart go ahead email me.
