Consistency

Really did you know you already have what you need to get to that point. That goal or for many goals. Hold up, if you’re aiming for only one goal well think about it.

I can’t tell you about your goals, why?, because they are YOUR goals. However, I can recommend to have more than one goal. It’s okay to apply action to more than one goal or have a line up. What’s a line up?

A line up is when you reach one goal, take a deep breathe, applaud yourself and roll into the next goal.

Regardless of the approach, the actions applied, you must

1. Believe in you. That means surrounding yourself with positive, motivating people. Be aware because someone is your friend or family they may not believe in your goal. Until you reach that goal limit your time with them. I know again why, because it just may slow you or deter you.

2. Be consistent. Know what day, how much time you will be applying and the action. CONSISTENCY CONSISTENCY CONSISTENCY is so key. You may have to sometimes rotate days or even time but be consistent in your actions. Ps I’m still working on this one. If I rotate to much, I will fall off. So I write it down, not on a phone as a note or in the calendar. I write it down old school in a daily Panda calendar. Again it works for me and it has so many divisions. What I’m grateful for, priority, task, notes and time. That’s for me you choose your method just be consistent.

3. You’re on you way.

It is so easy to talk about where we want to be. This could be in or on our fitness journey, in our personal life, careers. But what do we not do?

We forget we don’t have to do a restart. We can do a reset and look at what adjustments need to be applied. PLEASE don’t be aggressive in adjustments. Being aggressive if you’re not quite ready can get so confusing. Pace the change, know when to speed up and slow down. Yes this means listening to your body and knowing your strengths.

Not just fitness again, this is applicable for all areas in your life.

Okay now you gotta celebrate how far you’ve come.

So Many Say A Number, But …..

There are SO many tips and tricks out there that claim to support your health. But, are they REALLY helpful? Or are they a bit more… outdated?

Hydrate

 

For example… hydration! There is this magic number of “8” when it comes to glasses of water to consume a day. But it’s less about the number of cups (which varies from person to person, lifestyle to lifestyle) and more about how and when you drink up! Invest in a larger water bottle and keep it full + on hand. Worry less about tracking and more about creating the habit of having water around you at all times.

Really what’s the real fear

Now what does that mean? Well, I keep hearing and I can only encourage, motivate and inspire. What is it I hear?

So many especially the females, wanting to resume or start their fitness journey, but what are they saying? It’s necessary to make the time, make a space in the home, rearrange a room, lose a little more weight for the energy to workout, find the money for the gym or even to join me in my streaming workouts.

I understand, really I do, I’ve been there until I did the old thing you know. ‘Put one foot in front of the other and soon you’ll be moving along’ . Took a few years to understand it, and more to do it. Translated it means to apply actions now, big or small. You can determine your end goal or goals but you don’t have to and probably won’t see the whole picture.

So no you don’t have to see the whole picture, just start as you are right now. Of course I am speaking on fitness but this applies to all areas of your life.

Meditation

Sometimes we don’t know, and so many of us don’t.

Meditation gets us prepared for our GREATNESS. It helps us to reset our mindset, our actions and if necessary how we may need to do a bit of tweaking our actions.

Before you tweak PLEASE make certain any adjustments are for you, they are positive and are for you. What? yes for you. It is so easy to allow someone else without knowing you decide what and how your actions should be. Okay, but it is for them, not for you or will give the progress towards your goals. Just saying, check your actions and adjustments then make certain they are synced with your goals.

There are many ways to meditate, we sometimes do it differently and sometimes the same. Our time maybe the same or different. Meditation is supportive of our mindset.

One of the best ways to keep a great mindset is to have a good nights sleep. That sleep is a tool. Utilize it.

Please Don’t Feel Guilty

Sync Refresh Unplug

Life has us moving from fitness, personal, family and then it’s time to sleep and then begin the hamster roll again.

How about sitting time aside just for you. Unplug for a few. This will allow you to sync your body and mind, helps you refresh and reset. I know WE think the time isn’t there, but yes it is. We do it anyway but not consciously. We do it a quick second intervals; but let’s give ourselves a few more minutes.

So, today if not already a habit take a few minutes to Unplug, SYNC, REFRESH, RESET

How Does It Affect You

Positive

Sometimes it’s our environment. By environment that’s not how you were raised, but the now of today. The now is who are you surrounding yourself with.

We don’t (that we is you, me and any others that understand) have to all be on the same journey. The journey can be fitness, personal, professional or whatever journey we’re on. No we don’t, but what’s important is that we be supportive of POSITIVE behavior and actions.

Have you noticed how many will join hands and clap even support a negative behavior just to belong or negate a positive behavior because it’s not in their grid or not their journey. People there are times we have to agree to disagree but in a positive way.

Negative thoughts, behavior, actions take so much energy and can be draining. You can continue that path and weaken your GREATNESS or you can be POSITIVE CONTAGIOUS.

Yes, you can contagious in applauding, acknowledging, shout out the positive thoughts and behavior of someone else or even yourself. By the way it’s not a selfish act when you applaud yourself. If you’ve never done it then today begin.

Begin a new journey to spread it, POSITIVITY. Be contagious

Are You Optimized

Just asking, and I’m not judging. If you’re like me and few hundred thousand more on a fitness journey we can sometimes get in tuned to one channel and forget other components of our fitness.

Now what channels and components? How does this relate to a fitness journey . Channels and components are all together. However the three most components and are not in any order. There are many that focus on one component before moving on or realizing there is more. I was one sooooo, let’s go.

Fitness, choose your level, frequency, time and where. Me I’m a streaming person because my life, and schedule fluctuates. At home I can easily fit it into my schedule, my life and it just works for me. Interested, then just send me an email for more info. Your nutrition, I keep dialing in on nutrition. It is 100 percent true, you can not out work a bad nutrition. Now key word is nutrition. No diet, quick methods, starvation. Nutrition is what we can balance and live with everyday.

Your mindset. How is it? Are you believing in yourself, are you surrounded by positive people (we all sometimes have a negative thought but we shake that off because it’s not us), are you listening and reading books and to people that cheer you on? Yeah, well you’re on the right track. Believe me, it took me awhile because I was such a people pleaser. With my streaming workout I get it all. But mindset.

Yes some begin with nutrition, others mindset and a lot with fitness. However we really are optimized with all three combined.

Now Are You Optimized?

Will It Be A Repeater

As I write I’m asking myself the same. Am I repeating the same action in a different style. Just because you change the color of a style doesn’t mean there is a change.

For me I pivot in my change and it sometimes takes me a minute or two to realize it’s time to pivot up. I’m making it a habit now to evaluate myself once a month. I know many re-check frequently, however for me I believe we must allow time to see change especially in fitness. Patience. I also know promising yourself a change without ANY action will definitely keep you stagnant.

Imagine what and how no action, is affecting your mental health. You are greater, you’re able to do it, even if it’s small steps. What is it?

It is the change, be it fitness, personal or professional. Now think about, grab your paper, journal, phone whatever you’re using and write your END goal. Yes your end goal. Now write what actions are necessary to get you there. Your actions should fit you today, just as you are. These actions will change and they will expand.

Let’s evaluate and do it. You, me and anyone else.

It’s August and …

Yes, it’s August and by no means it’s HOT. But what is it you will do for you. We can hydrate. Hydrate does not just include water but those added electrolytes if needed. Please do not use the heat as a means of sweating and decreasing your weight. Not healthy not safe.

You can however find the best time of day that works for you. Temperature wise and lifestyle. This is the time you can give your best and applaud yourself after. Yes applaud you for committing and taking care of you.
