How Is Your Fitness Level

Really, how is it? We all have levels we want to reach and will do what’s necessary to improve ourselves and fitness to get there.

Now there are those who have levels to reach and stop because of the non magical, instant changes. You should just stop. Yes STOP that false expectation and get back on track. You only stopped because you wanted speedy results. Your results are what you put into your fitness and the ingredients are not as easy as cooking.

First you have to want the change. Then begin your transition, choose workouts that are appropriate for your fitness level and advance when your body tells you so. Yes the body will tell you, this is too easy so challenge it. Remember you cannot out work an inadequate nutrition. Nutrition has to be for you. Although you can do the same workout as someone else and see little or no results. Well your nutrition may require adjustment. If you’re not active, PLEASE don’t consume the nutrition of someone else because you’re doing the same workouts. Nutrition is your workout activity and your post fitness activity.

Making That Move

If you’re anything like so many we think aloud about what we want to do and one times write it down. Both are great beginners but it is always great to write it down.

I know this seems like a waste of time, but it is NOT. Writing it down and looking at your goals/intentions regularly (you decide the frequency that makes you move). Then commit to it and apply ACTIONS.

In applying actions, and again I’m guilty but have learned, there is no perfect time. Waiting to align 100 things up first (I know that number is exaggerated, but we sometimes wait for so many alignments especially in fitness). We just need to make that first move, which will not be easy at first. Again I’m speaking on fitness but this is so applicable to any goals. PACE yourself. Over doing it it because you’re excited will cause a burn out, then, yeah, you will stop. But surrounding yourself will those of like mindset or near to can assist in a burnout.

Most of all don’t give up on yourself if you don’t see results in a few days or one week. Remember consistency, believing in YOU, and most goals have more than one component.

Fitness requires workout( you’re always invited to join me, just send any emoji, I’ll reach out), but there’s nutrition, sleep,hydration and a repeat of believing in you, being consistent, positive mindset and most of all…. This is so important, it actually is a high priority. Love you right now just as you are. You are GREAT and you’re getting to unlock another level of your Greatness.

Every Second Has A Value

My posts are usually focused on fitness, however they can be applied to daily living. One of the most common conversation is, and yes I get frustrated but I listen. I hear I’d like to workout start a fitness journey but you know my family or friends say I’m too old, or I’d like to incorporate a specific hobby, cooking, building or begin utilizing my skills in technology on my own as a hire out, but I’ve been told the field is too saturated or what about your start up?

Okay and REALLY. We hear these words from those who have limited themselves and want you, me, us to do the same. It’s hard for so many to debunk the ancient history of age, weight limitations in fitness program. It’s hard for to debunk the truth of you are great and have the knowledge, all the greatness to soar high. Imagine if the beginning of UPS and FED EX did not want to implement their ideas because of USPS. Or if every person in the Olympics stopped because a new record was set. Look at shelves in the supermarket or clothing in stores, the selection is large.

Your unique GREATNESS, TALENT is designed for you and you need to get that move on and claim it. Your fitness journey is yours. The changes and growth we make, may offend others because our vision may not equate to their limited vision.

First friends, family or acquaintances are important. However be it as that sometimes we have to appreciate them and then let them go. Not to ignore but limit the interaction. I know from experience as the negative one see our vision as positive and see the actions as positive; you, me never giving up on ourselves change will happen.

Yes, we can become an inspiration to them, we may even encourage and receive positive support. ALSO, we may see a few less interaction from a few. Not because of loss of love because of moving forward in your GREATNESS wasn’t in their plans. Applaud yourself because it’s YOUR JOURNEY and making every second count is designed especially for you.

Applaud being GREAT, and debunking limitations. Make every dang second count when you can as long as you can.

Hello, Are You A Peeping Tom /Tonya or Are You Looking In

So, now what about this peep? Are you peeping into others life and admiring their every move. You can easy dream and peep into others life and just forget about yourself.

I’m not saying not to be motivated or inspired by others. But peeping into their lives and losing yourself can be concerning. Be motivated, be inspired by others BUT don’t forget to look in.

What is looking in? Well, that’s you looking inside of you and be aware there is a GREATER YOU and stop neglecting your own greatness. It is so easy to be that peeping person.

Today, right now I need you to look at you, really look to know your greatness AND you are.

Quick share, I was once a peeping person, until I realized I was losing myself and focused on others. Reiterating it’s okay t be inspired or motivated by others just don’t loose you, your focus and all the actions you are applying to reach your goals be it fitness, personal or professional, perhaps it’s all.

Balance Your Greatness

Hey there. Hey, hey, did you know you are Great!!!!

It is so easy to forget your greatness in your daily life. How? Because having a split lifestyle does that. What is a split? The split is being great in your personal life, your fitness journey, your professional life and being supported in your social life. We all travel or should be traveling on our OWN path and yet we may cross paths. How?

Well, though different we will have similarities. It’s up to us to respect each other’s Greatness in positive ways and be supportive. Things as simple as fitness journey, we may do the same workouts but our endurance and strength may differ and YES ….. YOU are still GREAT.

Because you have so many different components in your greatness it is easy to be overwhelmed and forget how much you have achieved because that end point hasn’t been reached. Interrupting now, DON’T STOP, what ever your actions are. Pivot if necessary but don’t stop.

Daily, weekly give yourself admiration of ALL your achievements. Achievements big or small is a positive motion to your higher greatness. As well when necessary it’s okay to give time to you for you. Why? Because you’re GREAT and the balance is knowing when it’s your time for mental continuation (professional if need) and you too deserve it.

What’s Your PUSH Mode

Just asking, my push mode is, well I have two. One I sometimes am committed to working out, but feel a if I could just skip it, but without valet reason, so I push myself and 99% of the time I smile because I feel so proud of the self push.

Number two is during my workouts. I love my virtual workout library so amazing, great trainers (they motivate, inspire), many choices and yet sometimes I am challenged in my strength, my endurance and I want to just stop that particular workout. I do have options to modify but it was once so easy to stop and move on to another program until I’m once again am challenged but then……..

I learned that I have to change my mindset. If you want change, you gotta change and you have to shift gear. Shift to the gear that assist in powering through, believing in you and after as I do, award your sweaty, stronger self with a smile. That smile states you did it, you powered through a challenge me.

Nutrition Plan vs Diet

It’s not just you, we all have to discover what works in our fitness journey. Now it doesn’t matter if you’re in fitness for weight loss, muscle gains or just to feel good about you and all te positive gains achieved on your fitness journey. Yes, there are many.

However, what doesn’t change is your intake. Your intake is of most important, you cannot out work ill intake. Now let’s discuss that intake. Nutrition and diet are similar because you have to eat, That nutrition depends on the goals you’re aiming for; brief clarification our nutrition may not be the same. Body type, metabolism, frequency of workouts, health and type of workouts are components of nutrition.

Nutrition plans will be life giving, small adjustments in your current intake such as preparation, time of day certain foods should be eaten, how to enjoy celebrations without missing out on the good food. A life style you can live with and easily adjust to, but you gotta want to make these adjustments.

Now honestly speaking diets for many give speedy response and short term longevity. Why? because most diets remove foods, depending on the diet there are a lot of foods removed. Now the health benefits, how are you affected and just don’t have a craving. Diets can easily eliminate too many foods or increase the wrong type of foods. However it’s up to you to decide nutrition plan or a diet. They both work. The choice is yours.
