Where are? Still applying those actions that aren’t working but you are still stroking the same. Stop it’s time to begin anew. Also there is no need to wait until 1 January. Why because you already tried that.
Jumpstart a new beginning. Apply new actions. I bet you need only a small tweak of your now actions.
It´s the season. I know and respect everyone does not celebrate Thanksgiving. But the season of Gratitude is alive always and I believe should be recognized and up leveled and Thanksgiving is a great day for do it.

Everyday should be a learning experience. That knowledge will maybe a “WOW”, or “Okay”, “Hmm”, or a mere head shake. But keep it real and apply.
My learning may be small to many, but important to me. I was upset I couldn’t do a heavier chest press. I forgot to appreciate my gains and to continue to see my goals as a future, continue working toward my goal, don’t stop. The current goal was not real for now.
Reminder just because your goal is not achievable at this time, don’t give up on yourself. Keep applying those actions. You’re closer than you think. Just keep it real.
Fitness in any form is not an easy road. I decided on road because you do a lot of straight days, then curves, never to forget the up and down. It’s a journey and knowing you will be met with a challenge can be intimidating.
That intimidation will raise if you are comparing. This is a reiteration of past post, “don’t compare yourself to others”, instead be inspired. You will have days of fluctuations in strength and body movements. Body movements meaning your lunge or squat may or may not be what you want for the day. Not to give you or myself a pass, BUT if we give our best each and every time the workout is a success. And please don’t be stagnant in the same weight, challenge the body.
Oh, but if you can’t satisfy the challenge okay just keep it moving. Quick share…..
I once was only able to lift 5lbs on shoulder press. Boy was I challenged and hated them. I wanted to fast forward on my home workouts past the press, but it wasn’t allowed so I had to do them. I complained but committed. Well I am now pressing 25 lb dumbbells, yes that’s 50 lbs and yes I still complain. I this week attempted 30 lbs but it was only 2 reps and I don’t have 27.5 lbs so back to 25lbs. Next week it maybe 20lbs or the same. It’s the road of fitness, but never stop, always believe in yourself, stay committed, give your best.
I love that I workout at home because my schedule fluctuates a lot and going to the gym would decrease my commitment to my journey. I always recommend a commitment schedule and keep it real, then find those workouts you enjoy, but challenge you. Females don’t run from the weights. You will not bulk unless you are taking the supplements and nutrition for a bulk, you will however tone and define especially with a bit of cardio.
Nutrition and I’m still dialing in on mine. Mindset so necessary.
How is that and what does this mean. Really?, just kidding. If you are familiar with the shedding of the leaves during the season change you know about the raking, leaf vacuuming to Lee the lawn looking beautiful. If not you are a bit lucky on missing out on this task, me not so much, especially with front and back yard, whew love the trees in the spring and summer but fall I sincerely question the presence of.
Nonetheless they are they and I am aware not all trees shed mine do. So as I’m raking and break before I vacuum the question arise. How many times am I raking the things from my life that no longer serve me to allow the beauty of my accomplishments reveal itself. That revealing is mostly for me. If you’re feeling good about yourself, loving your achievements it will shine. Just like the saying the inner beauty will radiate to the outside.
So I ask of you are you, have you or will you “Rake the Leaves”
Are you experiencing a combination of weather and mixed feelings. I’m there with you. The only thing I hope your weather is consistent with only a few degree changes. I say that because the temperature in my region of the south fluctuates. I’m saying really fluctuates 50 to 60’s in the AM and upper 80´s in the midday and the sun is not cutting back on the rays. Nonetheless the early evenings will make you want to be a bit relaxed than normal. Okay I’m good with that.

I am guilty at times of dragging my butt, better known as procrastination when I’m indecisive on an action. It is good sometimes and for me often to hesitate to follow the actions of our peers or family. Why, because we don’t, we’ll not me want to deal with the tug. That tug is explain your why not or just your whys which can lead to no interaction for a while. Ido not like these time.
I experienced these actions, just a quick share on my fitness journey I was asked multiple times why restart after a few years of nothing and the googling looking for a change when we meet up. Here I was explaining myself and change doesn’t occur overnight nor in a few days. On a fitness journey there are so many parts to change mindset, energy, inches (usually before pounds shed), and more. Evaluating the response and conversation I had to make a change. This is my decision, my journey and my response now is “ following MY inner greatness”.
We, that’s you and me don’t need to be explain why just to belong. Didn’t we do this in school and in college for a minute. We changed and said things to belong or agreed when we really knew this was not our thoughts but we had to belong. Or thought so. In doing so we lost a bit of our greatness and what a joy to recover that greatness. Being ourselves, which by the way should feel really good.
Today I ask you are you following your inner greatness or are you lingering on others just to belong. It’s okay to be you. Be yourself and follow your inner greatness. Look in the mirror after a few days, smile, spin around, do a few dance self and become absorbed in that feel good moment.
Okay Champion, go ahead and follow the greatness of you.
This is a quick one. How is your growth. Fitness yes but also your overall growth. That’s your mindset, personal and professional growth.
If you’re a homeowner, a plant grower, farmer do you only tend to the yard, flowers, field in the spring to fall and allow it all go wild the other seasons. I think not, because who’d want to start over every season.
I bet you render care for continuous beauty and productivity in your maintenance. This also applies to your fitness, mindset, health, personal and professional growth. The season of cool, cold and freezing can easily decrease our self maintenance levels and time.
But this year be ready. Nourish each area of your life for continuous beauty and productivity .
Are you respecting the changes you’ve improved in. Really take a few minutes to think about it. The positive changes you have made just may not align with others but should with you.
Everyone will not notice as well as not accepting what I’d like to say, the new version of you. But again how about you. I bet you’re proud, go ahead and applaud yourself. Just because your vision, your actions your change is not aligned with everyone surrounding you is okay.
The best of friends will applaud you, hug and congratulate you. You all may have similar experiences and goals but actions applied may differ. Move forward especially if you have applied positive actions, energy without harm to anyone. The best of friends know we’re alike and yet different.
The best of friends know on occasion there is a different view and approach and yet respect it. There are a few people unable to understand and accept this. Applaud them anyway, because now you know their real thoughts. This doesn’t mean to eliminate the friendship, it just defines the difference.
But to you Respect your change. Let’s cheer for the respect
Committed to a workout but you noticed your fatigue, although your strength is increased you notice a change. There are several reasons this may be occurring I’ll share a few
Sleep- are you getting enough. Being sleep deprived will affect your workouts and you are starting fatigue so yes expect it. There are supplements that can give you a boost but it will be short. You gotta get that sleep.
Nutrition- Yes, a deficit is necessary if your goal is to loose weight and tone. But if you are exercising more and especially if you’re lifting you must increase that protein and vegetables intake. A deficit in nutrition does not mean living on the verge of starvation.
Hydration- it’s important, poor hydration will fatigue you. Our bodies require hydration and if we’re working out a bit extra. There are many sources telling you how much water to drink. Some say 8 glasses, others say 1/2 your body weight. Honestly I say drink it. Your body will tell you when it’s enough. There are days 8 glasses maybe great and 1/2 your body weight is good. I know a few trainers that drink a gallon and those that compete the week prior to drink 2 to 3 gallons. I’m applauding them. I’d be in the that little room most of the day and night. Their purpose is to remove excess fluid and flush for greater definition of the muscles. Please note this is not a daily routine. Too much water can cause other medical issue
Be sure you are taking care of yourself. Sometimes that fatigue is telling us we have a bug. A little something is going on. Listen to the body. I always say have a relationship with the body so you know.
